Article : Ceuta – Militarisation without ending of the european- african border :
After the journal « Ceuta Actualidad » Morocco just set up metal fences topped with barbed wire at the beach of Belyounech and positions Force Auxiliaires for preventing migrants to reach Ceuta by sea.
This reinforement of the border at Ceuta – a recent proof of the intense cooperation between Morocco and Spain when it comes to block people from immigrating to Europe – follows some weeks later the reinforcement of the border to Melilla, as the activist José Palazon states with a picture which shows the construction of postes for the Forces Auxiliares all along the barrier which encases the enclave.
Just to remind, that last february the press revealed the beginnings of a construction of a new moroccan barrier to reinforce the spanish barrier which encases Ceuta to the side of the forests to prevent the passages via the fences.

Today 13th of May the Gendarmes have gathered in front of the only shop where subsaharan migrants provide themselves at Bekoya and arrested 3 of them. Handcuffed and hit on the heads theses migrants are always arrested at the Gendarmerie of the community of Iksane. It seems that moroccan authorities changes the procedures and methods. It’s enough to stand in front of the shops which are been visited by migrants and then just arrest everyone who is approaching. It ist a method with heavy consequences as the migrants will avoid these shops out of fear. Where will they provide themselves ? Additionally to the cold and the difficult conditions they for sure will be hungry hungry hungry. Nothing to eat and nothing to buy.
